I have put myself forward as a candidate for the board and below are some links to some information that may be helpful in making your decisions as to whether to support me.
I don’t believe the current way we elect board members really ensures we have the right balance of skills to move the organisation forward. We haven’t been given any guidance on the skills we are short of on the board – so inevitably we end up with a restricted pool of board members mainly driven by how well you are networked within the organisation – not how skilled you are or what diversity of experience you have. My skill set is almost entirely commercial – and that is where I will direct my energy if I am fortunate enough to be elected.
